‘Scareee Nights’ – Monsters? Check. Spooky house? Check. Creepy Butler? Check.

It is a familiar story … two friends, Brian and Cheryl, find themselves lost and alone on a dark, stormy night. Their only place of refuge is an eerie old house on a hill.

They are invited inside by Bernard the Butler, where they encounter some odd, but rather familiar characters, including Dra’coola and FrankNstein. The gathering is lead by the ‘larger than life’, but rather misunderstood, Dr Rock.

Despite their differences, the group have something to teach Brian and Cheryl about tolerance and acceptance of others.

Scareee Nights is a fun musical from RockED School Musical Productions, one with an important message about difference and empathy.

“Last year we performed Scareee Nights . Reminiscent of a ‘child friendly’ Rocky Horror Show, the monsters set the scene for a rocking party onstage and captured the imagination of all! Costumes were great fun, and our speaking cast enjoyed telling the story in a variety of accents and voices. Other RockED musical favourites over the years have included Quest, Cinderella and Under the Big Top.
The RockED Team make communication easy, and response is always timely and useful. I highly recommend these musicals for their simplicity, because that leaves room for plenty of imagination and improvisation while rehearsing.”
